about

I improvised this music in one take, in the order that you hear. So if you want to experience the whole session in one go, just hit play and sit back to enter another dimension for an hour. Headphones or good quality speakers recommended. Although the music can be dizzying at times, I have made sure that nothing should damage your hearing, even at fairly high volume.

A completely different way to listen to the music is to randomly insert tracks into a playlist and see what happens.

I was inspired to create a multilayered work that I could "play" in realtime that would feature drones mixed with a number of other elements that suggest vocal utterances, spinning objects, overtone singing, the resonance of pipes, and so on. The various elements collide with one another in time and space.

This music is not recommended to accompany activities, such as sleep, yoga, dish-washing, dinner conversation, meditation, shopping, etc. Accompanying modern dance or a Sci-Fi film might work. Strangely, although the music is often busy on the surface, there is a paradoxical calm at the core, almost hypnotic.

The music you hear is my first encounter using the three oscillators of WOGGLEBUG by MakeNoiseMusic as sound sources, passed through other time and spectral-based modulation units in my system.
